ALL03 Quo vadis Warpstock Europe? - Motion and stillness
In the past the organisation of Warpstock Europe had often been a last-minute effort, the result was that the experience for both the event team and visitors was suboptimal. As a remedy, two steps were taken in 2007: The creation of the warpevents.eu infrastructure and an open discussion at Warpstock Europe, which brought important ideas for warpevents.eu and lead to the foundation of the Warpstock Europe Steering Group.
This session begins with a short status report of the progress that has been made since then, and also that which hasn't. Afterwards, stakeholders like Mensys, netlabs.org, user groups, and visitors can come together to find and discuss further remedies. Finally, a new Warpstock Europe Steering Group has to be assembled.
